I'm Maddi, a first year University student from Australia, completing a Bachelor of Communication, majoring in Journalism and Media Production. I'm an aspiring journalist hoping to make my way into the world of fashion.
Apart from writing, fashion has been my single greatest passion for the past 19 years (yes, mum started me early). I'm a self-confessed social media addict, so when I began my degree in March of 2014 and some of my classmates began mentioning that they run blogs, I figured that blogging was the perfect way to embrace my three little obsessions. 'The Crystal Collar' (I was in fact wearing a crystal collar by Tokito when I created the title - subtle, what?) has expanded out of my love for high fashion and street glamour, the edgy street styles of New York City mashed with the femininity and elegance of the classic catwalk show.
